About this role
This role sits in Amazon's Worldwide Returns, ReCommerce & Sustainability team, which manages returned or damaged products from the customer through the warehouse to their next best use. The team works toward four goals: zero defects, zero cost of returns, zero product waste to landfill and net zero carbon. As a support-focused engineer, you troubleshoot and resolve system alarms, run software deployments and migrations, and manage hosts. You also build tools and automation to reduce manual operations, and the job mixes on-call duty, operational tasks and some small software projects. It is based in Hyderabad and suits people with application support experience who want to build tools at scale.
