Associate Security Analyst

About this role

Bloomreach builds an AI-driven personalization platform used by e-commerce and other businesses. This role sits in its Global Information Security & Technology team, part of a globally distributed 24/7 Security Operations team. The analyst monitors logs and cloud infrastructure for security events, investigates and escalates incidents, and keeps SOPs and playbooks up to date. Work can be done from the India offices or from home, in rotating shifts including weekends. It suits someone with SOC experience or a cyber security degree with relevant project work.

What you'll do

  • Monitor, analyze and interpret security, system, application and infrastructure logs for incidents
  • Use security tools and dashboards to detect anomalous activity
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure and the threat and vulnerability landscape, escalating as needed
  • Work with application security, GRC and legal teams on incidents and investigations
  • Join major incident calls and document incident report summaries
  • Document, follow and maintain SOPs, playbooks and knowledge base articles

What you need

  • 2+ years in a 24x7 Security Operations team, or a starter with a cyber security degree/specialization and a relevant project
  • Hands-on experience or deep knowledge of SIEM, SOAR and EDR
  • Knowledge of AWS or GCP is a must
  • Exposure to CSPM tools and vulnerability management tools
  • Beginner-level understanding of NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, OSINT and the incident lifecycle
  • Willing to work 24/7 rotating shifts and weekends
  • Excellent English communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
