This Senior AI/ML Engineer role is in Brillio's AI & Data Engineering group in Hyderabad, on a hybrid basis. The work involves building LLM-based applications, with an emphasis on AI agent workflows and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines. The engineer designs and refines prompts, connects agents to databases and validation tools, and sets up quality checks and evaluation frameworks. They also deploy and maintain these solutions in production and work with Data Scientists to measure performance. It suits someone with 2 to 4 years of experience, including at least 2 years on LLM, RAG or agent projects, and strong Python skills.

What you'll do

  • Design and build end-to-end AI agent workflows from prompt design to production deployment
  • Develop and optimize RAG pipelines, including chunking, embeddings, retrieval ranking and context management
  • Build and iterate on prompt engineering layers, testing and refining prompts
  • Integrate agents with databases, rule engines, validation systems and formatting tools
  • Set up automated quality checks and evaluation frameworks with Data Scientists
  • Deploy, monitor and maintain AI/ML solutions in production, and build feedback loops from expert review data

What you need

  • 2 to 4 years of experience, including at least 2 years on LLM-based applications, RAG systems or AI agent workflows
  • Advanced proficiency in Python
  • Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex
  • Strong understanding of RAG architectures: embedding models, vector stores, retrieval and re-ranking
  • Experience building multi-step agent workflows and deploying AI/ML solutions in production
  • Experience with data pipeline development for AI systems
  • Desired: bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, Statistics or a related field, and ML/AI certifications
