About this role

This Salesforce Data Analyst role in Bangalore focuses on the quality of data in Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud and Service Cloud, covering accounts, contacts, opportunities and related records. The analyst finds inaccurate, duplicate or outdated records, builds reports and dashboards to track data quality, and traces problems to their root cause. They work with Salesforce Data Stewards and the Data Quality Manager to prioritise and track fixes. It suits analysts with a couple of years of Salesforce or CRM data experience.

What you'll do

  • Write queries and build analytical datasets using Salesforce reporting and querying tools
  • Analyze Salesforce data for inaccurate, incomplete, duplicate, inconsistent or outdated records
  • Build and maintain recurring data-quality reports, dashboards and scorecards
  • Investigate data anomalies and perform root-cause analysis
  • Work with Data Stewards to validate issues and track remediation
  • Reconcile Salesforce data with other systems when discrepancies appear

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in Salesforce data analysis, business analysis, CRM analytics and data quality
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards and recurring analytical outputs
  • Proficiency with Salesforce SOQL, SQL and Excel
  • Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment
