Software Engineer, iOS
About this role
Grab is a Southeast Asian superapp covering food delivery, finance and transport. This role is in the payments team, which works on PaySDK and the passenger, driver and merchant app clients. The iOS engineer builds and maintains these apps using technologies such as SwiftUI and RxSwift, with a focus on sound architecture. Day to day, the work involves developing features, working with other teams on requirements, writing technical documentation and debugging complex issues. The position is on-site in Bangalore, reports to an Engineering Manager II, and suits iOS developers with a couple of years of experience.

What you'll do
- Develop iOS applications with high quality and on-time delivery
- Collaborate with teams to identify project requirements and build solutions
- Write technical documentation such as code comments, architecture diagrams and technical guides
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues using debugging tools
- Keep up with iOS development trends and tools to improve processes and product quality
What you need
- 2+ years of iOS development experience
- Fluent in Swift, with understanding of OOP, TDD, reactive programming and dependency injection
- Working knowledge of architectural approaches such as clean architecture, MVVM or VIPER
- Experience writing maintainable, testable code including API design, unit testing and UI testing
- Experience maintaining apps with a large user base using crash analytics, remote debugging and continuous integration
