What you'll do

  • Formulate analytic objectives from business needs and define business rules and solution objectives
  • Develop and maintain metadata, load data, and create a hypothesis matrix to prepare for exploratory data analysis
  • Build models, validate them, and check results and performance after implementation
  • Research and help deliver data science solutions to the problem domain
  • Measure business performance based on deployed models and lead model enhancements when needed
  • Create visualizations of model insights for easy consumption

What you need

  • Master's degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or equivalent preferred; or a Bachelor's in these areas with 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of data science methods such as regression, neural nets, CHAID, CART, association rules, cluster analysis and text mining
  • Proficiency in analytics software such as R, Python, SAS and SQL
  • Experience with Docker, GitHub and coding IDEs
  • Understanding of supply chain business requirements and how to translate them into mathematical models
  • Working knowledge of Tableau or Python for visualization, plus solid communication skills
