Support Engineer

About this role

Insurity sells cloud-based insurance software to property and casualty carriers and MGAs. The Support Engineer investigates and helps resolve production issues on assigned Insurity products. The work involves ticket ownership, deciding when to escalate, and troubleshooting with SQL, logs and debugging tools, plus some configuration knowledge. The role is permanently remote in Noida and works U.S. Eastern Time business hours. It suits someone with 2-4 years in support, development or consulting who writes clearly and hands work off well.

What you'll do

  • Triage incoming tickets, identify billable work, decide on escalation and follow issues to resolution
  • Support low- to medium-complexity customer issues and requests day to day
  • Investigate issues using SQL, application and platform logs, and debugging tools
  • Use Kubernetes and GitOps workflows to monitor deployments and support investigations
  • Communicate with Product Management, Engineering and partners, and coordinate handoffs across time zones
  • Maintain ticket information and contribute to the knowledge base, documentation and resolution notes

What you need

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a support, development or consulting environment
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with ticket triage, escalation judgment and first-level troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of SQL or similar tools, logs, debugging utilities, and case-management systems such as Salesforce and Jira
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Willingness to work U.S. Eastern Time business hours and be legally eligible to work in India
