About this role

JFrog offers a software supply chain platform used to manage, secure and automate software delivery. The Developer Support Engineer in Bangalore handles complex customer CI/CD problems and helps customers get JFrog products working in their environments. Day to day this means debugging with logs and thread dumps, writing scripts, reproducing customer issues and working with R&D, QA and Sales. The role follows an EMEA shift from 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm IST, with a hybrid model of 3 office days per week at Bellandur. It suits support engineers with 2+ years of experience and a DevOps and cloud background.

What you'll do

  • Troubleshoot and investigate complex customer CI/CD scenarios and provide solutions
  • Write Bash, Python and Groovy scripts for debugging and automation
  • Set up JFrog applications and third-party products in various development environments
  • Analyze log files, thread dumps, HTTP traffic, and JVM and OS parameters
  • Reproduce customer scenarios and file bugs or feature requests
  • Maintain a knowledge base and work with R&D, QA, Release and Sales teams

What you need

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in technical support
  • Understanding of Java or another compiled language
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and with Linux
  • Ability to manage complex escalated cases across multiple platforms, with strong debugging skills
  • Knowledge of databases, LDAP, NGINX and Apache Tomcat
  • DevOps industry experience and experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed
