Lepton Software supports GIS-based applications for its customers. This L1 Application Support Engineer in Gurgaon handles issues raised directly by users, troubleshoots them and delivers resolutions within SLAs. The person coordinates with L2 and L3 teams, supports the application during outages or enhancements, and checks that automated data feeds load correctly. What you'll do
- Provide technical support to users of GIS-based applications
- Evaluate, troubleshoot and resolve issues assigned by customers or users
- Follow operational processes and SLAs strictly
- Coordinate with L2 and L3 support teams on transferred issues
- Support the application during outages, degradation or enhancements
- Perform incident, change and release management and ensure data feeds load properly
What you need
- 2-4 years of experience
- Technical knowledge of GIS applications such as MapInfo or QGIS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of application integration and data flow in the system
- Willingness to work rotational 24x7 shifts
- ITIL certification preferred; telecom wireline knowledge is an advantage
