What you'll do
- Program, test, implement, document, maintain and support application software following Mastercard standards and best practices
- Develop secure, scalable software based on technical requirements and design artifacts, within time and budget
- Research and evaluate alternative technical solutions for business needs
- Create system and testing documentation per department standards
- Follow development, testing, audit-compliance and quality assurance processes
- Support collection and reporting of project and software metrics, and look for ways to improve standards and process efficiency
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
- Basic understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies
- 0 to 12 months of experience in software engineering
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn new technologies, frameworks and tools quickly
- Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, collaborating in a diverse, geographically distributed team
