What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain application features and services with a focus on code quality and reliability
  • Write backend code in Java (17+) using object-oriented principles and basic design patterns
  • Contribute to microservices and APIs built with frameworks such as Spring Boot
  • Implement features from defined requirements and designs, with guidance from senior engineers
  • Work with RDBMS and NoSQL (e.g. Cassandra) data stores in a CI/CD environment
  • Debug issues, resolve defects and take part in Agile ceremonies and sprint commitments

What you need

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in Java full stack software engineering
  • Good understanding of Java and Spring Boot fundamentals
  • Basic awareness of microservices and event-driven architecture
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and version control tools
  • Knowledge of databases (RDBMS and/or NoSQL such as Cassandra)
  • Strong learning ability and effective communication in a team
