Junior Software Engineer
About this role
NCR Atleos makes self-service banking technology, including ATM recycler and deposit devices. This team develops the currency template software that runs on the devices' bill validator module and checks whether deposited notes are genuine. A junior software engineer analyzes note image attributes, builds and validates detection functions, and tests in simulation and on target hardware. Work uses in-house tool sets plus some C++, and full training is provided. The role is in Hyderabad and suits graduates with some C#/C++ or .NET background who can work with global teams.

What you'll do
- Develop software to customer requirements with support from senior developers and the team lead
- Analyze and process data and develop solutions with senior guidance
- Prepare technical documentation
- Take part in template update peer reviews
- Help estimate time for template development work
- Communicate with developers, the technical team lead and QA
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Software development experience, preferably C# / C++
- Hands-on experience in a .NET development environment and automation solution development
- Methodical problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
