What you'll do

  • Monitor applications, infrastructure, nodes and services in a 24x7 NOC
  • Run scheduled and ad-hoc health checks and watch alarms and performance
  • Do first-level troubleshooting, fault isolation and incident triage
  • Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams and track incidents to resolution
  • Give customers timely technical updates on reported incidents
  • Support releases, upgrades, planned maintenance and outage restoration
  • Maintain SOPs, incident records and shift handovers

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, E&TC or equivalent; BCA/MCA may also apply
  • Freshers or up to 2 years in Telecom, NOC, Production Support or IT Operations (posting also mentions 2-4 years)
  • Good understanding of Linux/Unix
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH and networking troubleshooting
  • Basic shell scripting; Perl/Python, SQL, GCP and telecom knowledge are advantages
  • Good English communication and willingness to work 24x7 rotational shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
