Parexel is a global clinical development partner serving the life sciences industry. The Safety Technology Analyst supports pharmacovigilance operations and safety database management, working from Hyderabad on a remote basis. The role covers setting up and maintaining safety databases, generating reports, supporting system handovers and resolving technical issues. The analyst works with Safety Services, IT, Quality and clients, and also contributes to change management, validation and documentation. It suits someone with about 2+ years in safety applications such as Argus or Vault Safety.

What you'll do

  • Set up and support safety databases, including new study configuration, periodic and ad-hoc reports, and expedited report rules
  • Support safety database handovers between client and Parexel
  • Help develop and maintain SOPs and controlled documents for safety technology systems
  • Support integrations between safety technologies and other applications
  • Work with IT, vendors, Safety Services staff and clients to resolve technical issues
  • Support change management, system validation and software updates, and ensure 21 CFR Part 11 compliance

What you need

  • 2+ years of experience with safety supportive applications such as Argus, Vault Safety, EDC or Safety ERP
  • 2+ years working with operational teams to manage issues and gather requirements
  • Experience with computerized system validation
  • Intermediate SQL scripting and system administration or application support skills
  • Knowledge of pharmacovigilance, GVP and GCP, and of 21 CFR Part 11, EMA Annex 11 and GAMP
  • Fluent English and strong communication skills
