About this role

Zettle SMB Direct is the PayPal team that builds the native point-of-sale experience for small and medium businesses, including the PayPal POS app (formerly Zettle Go) and the Zettle Terminal. Merchants use the app to take card and tap payments, run checkout, manage products and inventory, issue receipts, and handle refunds and invoices. The iOS engineer builds and maintains features across the app, from sign-in and onboarding to checkout, and learns how it connects to card readers and Tap to Pay on iPhone. The role also covers app stability, testing and releases, and involves working with teammates in Bangalore and Sweden. It suits iOS developers with 1-3 years of Swift experience who are curious about payments.
