About this role
This Associate Engineer role is in the Avionics test engineering team at Collins Aerospace in Bengaluru (Yelahanka), and is hybrid. The team designs automatic test equipment (ATE) hardware used to verify aerospace products. The engineer supports hardware design, produces drawings, schematics, BOMs and assembly instructions, and writes verification and validation procedures. They also support assembly and integration and work with software, electrical, mechanical and systems engineers, suppliers and manufacturing. It suits electrical, electronics or instrumentation graduates with about 1-3 years of experience.

What you'll do
- Support test equipment hardware design
- Create design drawings, schematics, BOMs and assembly instructions for ATE per design specifications
- Develop verification and validation procedures for ATE
- Support test equipment assembly and integration
- Communicate technical issues in written, verbal and presentation form
What you need
- BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering
- Desired experience of 1-3 years
- Experience in test equipment hardware design, including component selection and review/creation of schematics and drawings
- Hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment such as NI hardware, data acquisition systems, power supplies, DSO, DMM and signal generators
- Knowledge of Serial, Ethernet, CAN and ARINC protocols
- Experience with configuration control tools and MS Office; AutoCAD, OrCAD, PSpice and Visio preferred
