About this role
This role is in Cigna's quality engineering team in Bengaluru, which supports the International division's digital programme. The analyst builds and maintains test automation for business applications and takes part in agile sprint and release planning. Work includes writing and running automation scripts, reporting defects and tracking automation progress. It reports to the QE Manager and works with scrum teams and business colleagues, including remote ones. It suits early-career testers with Selenium and Java exposure.

What you'll do
- Build and maintain automation for critical and complex business applications
- Create test automation for in-sprint and regression testing
- Execute automation scripts and report bugs
- Prioritise test cases and plan executions for maximum coverage
- Take part in PI and sprint planning and other agile ceremonies
- Track and report automation progress and support CI/CD and DevOps opportunities
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 0-1 years of experience in QE test automation
- 0-1 years of experience with Selenium and Cucumber
- Knowledge of automating web applications and APIs, with Java scripting
- Good knowledge of the test cycle: design, execution, defect management and reporting
- Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
