The intern tests mobile, web, desktop and game applications, plays the games to spot problems, and writes and runs test cases under the guidance of QA engineers. What you'll do

  • Execute functional, regression, exploratory and compatibility testing on mobile, web, desktop and game applications
  • Play and evaluate games to find issues in gameplay, features, UI, performance and player experience
  • Write, maintain and run test cases, checklists and test scenarios with guidance from QA engineers
  • Reproduce, document and track defects with steps, expected and actual results, and screenshots, videos or logs
  • Retest fixes and run regression tests
  • Assist with test environment setup, test data preparation and QA documentation

What you need

  • Good analytical, logical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of software testing concepts, or a strong willingness to learn test design, defect reporting and QA processes
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Docs, Sheets and Slides
  • Ability to work collaboratively, accept feedback and take ownership of tasks
  • Good to have: basic knowledge of test automation or scripting
