This Software Engineer role in Pune centres on building and maintaining high-performance applications in modern C++, and MFC experience is mandatory. Day to day, the engineer works in an Agile/Scrum team with business analysts, product owners and QA to design, code, test and debug features. The role also covers troubleshooting production issues, code reviews and documentation. It suits developers with a few years of C++ product experience.

What you'll do
- Work with business analysts, product owners and QA to understand requirements and user stories
- Design, develop, test, debug and maintain C++ applications following secure coding standards
- Write and run unit tests and support integration and system testing
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Take part in code reviews, design reviews and sprint planning
- Maintain technical documentation and support CI/CD and build automation
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience
- Strong C++ proficiency with production-grade applications
- Mandatory experience with MFC
- Solid grasp of OOP, data structures and algorithms, multithreading, memory management and design patterns
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure DevOps and TFS/Git
