About this role

Coupa's Red Team simulates real-world attacks to challenge and improve the security of the Coupa cloud platform. This hands-on role covers penetration testing of web apps, mobile apps, APIs and AI/LLM integrations, including attacks such as prompt injection and jailbreaking. The engineer also builds AI agents for autonomous security testing and maintains application security tooling such as SAST, DAST and WAF. The role is based in Pune on a hybrid basis. It suits security professionals with around two years of experience who are self-motivated and want to work on AI security.

What you'll do

  • Run penetration tests on web apps, mobile apps, APIs and AI/LLM systems, using traditional and AI-powered tools
  • Assess Coupa's AI and LLM integrations for prompt injection, jailbreaking, data poisoning and model evasion
  • Develop, deploy and manage AI agents for continuous, autonomous security testing
  • Identify network and system vulnerabilities and recommend mitigating controls
  • Perform remediation testing and reporting
  • Maintain and extend application security tooling, standards and processes such as SAST, DAST and WAF

What you need

  • 2+ years in a security-related role, with hands-on experience in AI-driven security testing
  • Strong web and API security experience, including attacks on AI/ML systems
  • Proficiency in a scripting language, preferably Python
  • Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25 and OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, and of pentest frameworks such as PTES, OSSTMM and NIST
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience managing bug bounty programs
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience; ability to explain findings as business risk to non-technical stakeholders
