What you'll do
- Develop and maintain global power market models and datasets using PLEXOS or Aurora
- Assist with market research, model updates, result analysis and benchmarking
- Visualize and analyze production cost model results using Power BI and Excel
- Maintain large energy databases from data providers, publications, regulators and web research
- Run PLEXOS/Aurora and interpret outputs and energy balances
- Review and troubleshoot models for errors, omissions and inconsistencies
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (transmission preferred) or Power Systems
- 0–2 years of experience in energy modeling and power market analysis
- Basic understanding of energy economics and power market fundamentals
- Knowledge of production cost tools such as PLEXOS (preferred), Aurora or PROMOD
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Expert skills in Excel and Power BI
