About this role
Equifax's Pune analytics centre hires a Quality Automation Analyst (SDET) to test and help develop high-priority products. The role covers writing test plans and automated tests, running them, logging defects and retesting fixes. The person also helps integrate automation into CI and takes part in performance and resilience testing. It suits testers with a few years of experience who can work with limited supervision.

What you'll do
- Develop test strategies and automate tests using test frameworks and moderately complex scripts
- Create and execute test plans and test cases, and record defects in JIRA and Zephyr
- Build test harnesses and infrastructure as needed
- Help integrate test automation into the CI environment
- Run performance and resilience tests to check SLAs and SLOs
- Review test automation with other SDETs and work with product owners and test leads on requirements
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM major or equivalent experience
- 2–5 years of software testing experience
- Ability to create automated tests from functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience with Maven or Gradle and testing tools like Cucumber and Selenium
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence and cloud technology (GCP, AWS or Azure)
- Cloud certification strongly preferred
