About this role

EY's Forensic & Integrity Services team helps organizations investigate facts, resolve disputes and manage regulatory and reputational risk. This Associate Consultant role in Bengaluru sits in the Investigations & Compliance group and supports eDiscovery engagements. The person prepares and quality-checks data, automates tasks with Python and assists with text analytics and AI-enabled review workflows. Work is done under supervision and includes documenting methods and presenting results to project teams. It suits early-career graduates with Python, AI or data analytics project experience.

What you'll do

  • Prepare, organise and quality-check data for eDiscovery processing, review and analysis
  • Use Python to automate data preparation, validation, file handling and reporting under supervision
  • Assist with text analytics and AI workflows such as document classification, clustering and entity extraction
  • Work with structured and unstructured data, flag data-quality issues and document transformation logic
  • Test scripts and outputs, and maintain reproducible workpapers
  • Prepare short presentations explaining methods, results and limitations

What you need

  • Recent B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech./M.Sc. or equivalent in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, IT or a related field
  • Good academic record with coursework or projects in Python, AI, ML, NLP or data analytics
  • Python fundamentals including pandas, NumPy and regular expressions
  • Basic SQL, statistics and understanding of ML, NLP and generative AI concepts
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience; internships, capstone projects and hackathons count
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
