About this role
Finastra builds software for lending, payments and universal banking used by banks worldwide. This Pune role is for a non-functional/performance engineer who tests and monitors high-scale distributed systems, in both SaaS and on-premises setups. Day to day it involves designing and running load and stress tests, automating test pipelines in Jenkins, and analyzing system behavior with observability tools. The engineer also tracks down bottlenecks with development and infrastructure teams. It suits someone with several years of performance testing experience and scripting skills.

What you'll do
- Design, develop and run performance, load and stress tests using tools such as LoadRunner and Gatling
- Write test cases in Scala, shell or Java
- Build automated Jenkins pipelines for pre- and post-test steps of NFT
- Monitor and analyze performance using Prometheus, Grafana and other observability tools
- Find performance bottlenecks and work with development and infrastructure teams to resolve them
- Create performance benchmarks, KPIs, test plans and reports, and join architecture and design reviews
What you need
- 2–5 years of experience in performance testing/engineering (the description mentions about 5 years)
- Proficiency with LoadRunner and Gatling
- Experience automating NFT execution with Jenkins and utilities in Python or similar
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana monitoring
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and good written and spoken English
- Experience with enterprise SaaS and on-premise high-scale distributed systems
