About this role
NiCE Actimize provides financial crime, risk and compliance software to banks and other financial institutions. The AI and Analytics team is building a cloud-based SaaS/PaaS analytics platform that customers use to create their own financial crime solutions. The DevOps Engineer works on the shared infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation and monitoring behind that platform on AWS. The role is an individual contributor position in Pune with a hybrid model of 2 office days and 3 remote days per week. It suits engineers with 2-4 years of AWS DevOps experience, particularly with Terraform and Jenkins.

What you'll do
- Design and implement shared infrastructure components to improve availability and scalability
- Implement and improve CI/CD infrastructure and practices
- Build tooling and automation to speed up product engineering teams
- Implement and improve monitoring, alerting and observability
- Build and maintain highly available systems
- Collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams and report progress, risks and roadmaps to senior management
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field
- 2-4 years of DevOps experience on AWS
- Strong skills in Terraform and Jenkins for CI/CD, with multi-region AWS deployment automation
- Hands-on AWS and networking knowledge (VPCs, routing, DNS, Transit Gateways, load balancers)
- Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, Linux and Windows; Python, Unix shell and PowerShell scripting
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with Agile/Scrum experience
