What you'll do
- Design, develop and maintain Snowflake stored procedures, tasks, streams and data pipelines
- Build and support Python ETL/ELT frameworks across multiple source systems
- Optimise data ingestion, transformation and query performance in Snowflake
- Implement data quality checks, error handling, monitoring and logging
- Gather requirements from business users and analysts
- Support application development, troubleshooting and production support
What you need
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational data models
- 1.5 to 3 years of experience in data engineering, ETL or data warehouse development
- Minimum 1 year hands-on Snowflake experience
- Python experience for ETL pipelines using Pandas, PySpark, SQLAlchemy or Snowpark
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT, data warehousing and dimensional modeling
- Experience with databases such as Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL
