About this role
JLL's technology team builds enterprise data solutions for real estate data processing and analytics. A Data Engineer 2 builds production-ready data pipelines and extends CI/CD for data workflows. The work covers medium to high complexity data problems, using AI and automation patterns where they fit. The role involves translating business needs into technical requirements and working in a scrum team with senior engineers, product managers and analysts. It suits engineers with a few years of pipeline experience, working on-site in Bengaluru.

What you'll do
- Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows
- Build and modify CI/CD pipelines for data processing
- Develop data ingestion from APIs, databases and file systems
- Add data validation, error handling and monitoring to production pipelines
- Build reusable components and frameworks for the team
- Design database schemas and work with Azure/AWS/GCP services
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Proven experience building ETL/data pipelines in production
- Intermediate Python (decorators, generators, OOP) and solid SQL with query tuning
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory or SSIS
- Familiarity with Spark/PySpark and cloud data services; agile team experience
