About this role

This Software QA Engineer 1 role is an automation tester position in Bangalore within the technology team that builds software programs and cloud applications. What you'll do
- Author and execute automation test cases within the broader testing strategy
- Create test data and help maintain libraries of reusable test data sets
- Work in the sprint test team and track issues and defects with quality engineering tools
- Review requirements and other deliverables for testability, completeness and traceability
- Perform unit, functional, non-functional, security and data validation testing
- Report status, progress and concerns to the QA Lead
What you need
- Around 0-2 years of QA experience
- Programming and scripting skills, including Java and SQL
- Automation testing experience with tools like Selenium
- Hands-on experience writing SQL queries and doing back-end database validation
- Understanding of relational databases, multi-tiered application architecture and cloud technologies
- Strong test case creation and execution skills, with good written and verbal communication
