About this role
Michelin, the global tyre and mobility company, is hiring a fresher as a Junior GenAI Data Scientist for its Pune location. The role supports the development, testing and deployment of AI chatbots, GenAI agents and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications. Day to day, you would write Python code, work with large language models and handle both structured and unstructured data such as documents, APIs and databases. You would also test chatbot answers for accuracy, help with debugging and deployment, and keep technical documentation up to date. It suits freshers who know Python and are keen to build practical LLM-based tools.

What you'll do
- Develop basic GenAI agents using LangGraph, LangChain or similar frameworks
- Help build AI chatbot backends using LLMs and agent workflows
- Build basic RAG pipelines for document search and question answering
- Write clean, reusable Python code working with documents, APIs and databases
- Test chatbot responses for accuracy and reliability
- Assist with deployment, debugging, logging and error handling, and maintain documentation
