About this role

Novartis's Field Operations team in Hyderabad supports pharmaceutical sales field forces in international markets with analytics, incentive operations and call plan management. As an intern you help produce analytics, reports and dashboards for headquarters stakeholders and country field teams. Day to day you analyse trends and variances, build automated data validation checks, and document processes through SOPs and trackers. You also support field target setting and incentive design and reporting, using technology and AI to automate work. The role suits analytically minded candidates comfortable with data tools who are interested in the pharma business.

What you'll do

  • Perform analytics such as trend identification and variance analysis
  • Build automated data validation and quality checks on input datasets
  • Prepare dashboards and reports on incentives, call planning, targeting and performance
  • Support field target setting and incentive design, operations and reporting
  • Maintain process documentation such as SOPs, trackers and workflows
  • Keep stakeholders updated and follow internal procedures

What you need

  • Experience with data ETL platforms such as Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Snowflake or Dataiku
  • Familiarity with workflow and automation tools such as SharePoint and MS PowerApps
  • Skills in analytical tools such as Excel and Python, and in data science or machine learning
  • Background in digital technologies and AI
  • Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding of the pharma ecosystem is desirable
