About this role
Qualcomm's Modem-RF Software team in Hyderabad builds the drivers and software modules that run its Modem-RF wireless chipsets. What you'll do
- Develop and validate software for Qualcomm Modem-RF wireless chipsets
- Build drivers for Modem-RF transceivers with RF hardware, baseband and RF ASIC teams
- Develop and optimize modem, RF transceiver and RF front-end algorithms and software modules
- Help investigate complex RF and modem issues across hardware and software teams
- Work with physical layer teams to deliver new modem features
What you need
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent
- 0-1 years of experience
- Strong C and/or C++ programming and debugging skills, ideally on embedded RTOS
- Knowledge of digital/wireless communications, ECE fundamentals and RF theory
- Good grasp of software engineering concepts and good communication skills
- LTE/5G NR knowledge and experience with RF test equipment are a plus
