About this role
Autodesk's Platform team, in the Product Data / Data Foundation area, builds cloud-native services that power the company's cloud data platform. The Software Development Engineer works in Pune on a hybrid basis and reports to the Manager of Software Development. The work is mainly Java and Spring Boot: building and testing services and RESTful APIs on AWS, writing automated tests, and joining code reviews. The engineer also learns CI/CD, monitoring and production support, and uses AI-assisted development tools with proper validation. It suits early-career engineers with up to two years of experience, including internships or academic projects.

What you'll do
- Take part in the full software development lifecycle from design to maintenance
- Develop, test and troubleshoot software in Java and Spring Boot

What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 0 to 2 years of software development experience, including internships or academic projects
- Good understanding of Java and object-oriented programming
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms and software engineering principles
- Familiarity with Spring or Spring Boot, REST APIs and relational or NoSQL databases
- Experience with Git and understanding of unit and integration testing
