What you'll do
- Perform EMI/EMC testing, including conducted and radiated emissions and immunity tests
- Run ESD, EFT, surge and other immunity tests on products such as EV chargers, inverters, ESS and power supplies
- Set up test configurations, operate lab equipment and prepare test reports
- Analyze test failures, find root causes and work with design teams on fixes like filtering, grounding, shielding and PCB changes
- Coordinate with external test labs and certification agencies where required
- Maintain test plans, validation records and compliance documentation
What you need
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, ECE or Power Electronics
- 2+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience in EMI/EMC testing, validation or compliance
- Understanding of conducted and radiated emissions, immunity, ESD, EFT and surge
- Familiarity with standards such as IEC 61000 and CISPR
- Experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, LISNs and EMC test setups
