What you'll do
- Build and operate Google's network reliably and at scale
- Execute deployment, maintenance and operations of private data networks worldwide
- Work with cross-functional teams to keep operational costs low
- Monitor the network, repair issues and escalate when needed
- Own network documentation and maintain network designs and plans
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Telecom Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience in networking fundamentals and protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, DHCP, IPSec, GRE, Wi-Fi standards, DNS, Radius)
- 2 years of experience with wireless technologies
- Experience with 802.11 Wi-Fi standards, 802.1X access control and DHCP/IPv6 SLAAC
- English proficiency
