About this role
OLYV, formerly SmartCoin, is a fintech platform that offers credit, digital gold savings and credit health products to self-employed micro-entrepreneurs, micro-merchants and middle- and lower-income salaried people in India. The Site Reliability Engineer keeps its systems healthy, available and scalable. Day to day this means monitoring, fixing production outages, and automating cloud infrastructure on GCP and AWS. The role also involves maintaining the delivery pipeline and the logging and alerting stack. It suits an engineer with 2-4 years of experience who is comfortable owning problems through to resolution.

What you'll do
- Build and improve instrumentation to monitor system health, availability, security, efficiency and scalability
- Troubleshoot and fix production outages and performance issues
- Build automation tools to provision and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP and AWS
- Contribute to the continuous delivery pipeline and automate system configuration with configuration management tools
- Maintain log collection, processing, visualization and alerting infrastructure
- Explore and run proofs of concept on new technologies that improve infrastructure performance
What you need
- 2-4 years of professional experience
- Strong scripting and automation skills; bash and Python are mandatory, Ruby is a plus
- Experience supporting managed cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP, preferably GCP
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform is a must
- In-depth Linux knowledge (CentOS/Ubuntu) and strong networking skills to debug outages
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Redash, Consul, Grafana and ELK, plus CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred) and Ansible preferred
