About this role
NatWest Digital Services India is hiring AI/ML trainees in Bengaluru on a 6-month fixed-term contract for 2025 and 2026 graduates. Trainees join a feature team that builds and maintains secure, high-performance software for the bank. The work covers the whole development cycle, from requirements analysis and design through coding, testing, deployment and operations, in close collaboration with other engineers, architects and business analysts. The role is aimed at early-career candidates with strong Python and DSA fundamentals and a conceptual understanding of AI and machine learning. Candidates from NatWest's partner colleges are not eligible.

What you'll do
- Engineer and maintain secure, robust, customer-focused software solutions within a feature team
- Design, write, test and implement working code
- Work across the life cycle from requirements and design to testing, deployment and operations
- Work with engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform
What you need
- 2025 or 2026 graduate; graduates of NatWest partner colleges are not eligible
- Strong hands-on Python skills, including OOP and modular code
- Strong data structures, algorithms and problem-solving skills
- Conceptual understanding of AI/ML: models, training, inference and data
- Familiarity with version control, testing and debugging
- GitHub ID score must be included with your name in the application
