What you'll do
- Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue (PySpark), orchestrated with Airflow or Step Functions
- Own and optimize large Amazon Redshift clusters and high-concurrency workloads
- Contribute to migrations from Snowflake or traditional RDBMS to Redshift
- Integrate data from REST APIs, AWS Aurora, streaming inputs and flat files
- Write advanced SQL for analytics, reconciliation and validation, and set up monitoring, alerting and logging for pipelines
- Work with product managers, analysts and client-facing teams to gather requirements and uphold data governance
What you need
- 1-3 years of core data engineering experience, with hands-on Amazon Redshift performance tuning
- Experience with multi-terabyte Redshift clusters, concurrent query loads and workload management
- Strong experience with AWS Glue (PySpark) for large-scale ETL
- Experience with workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions
- Strong Python, advanced SQL and data modeling skills
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, DevOps processes and infrastructure-as-code concepts
