About this role
S&P Global's Notice Manager team produces leveraged loan reference and transaction datasets used across the loan industry. The apprentice developer, based in Gurugram, works with the product team under the guidance of senior developers. The job involves turning business requirements into technical solutions, writing code in languages such as C#, and helping maintain existing products while adding new features. The apprentice takes part in Agile ceremonies and code reviews, and learns cloud development and the software development lifecycle. It suits current students or recent B.E/B.Tech graduates in computer-related fields.

What you'll do
- Turn business requirements into technical solutions for the leveraged loan industry
- Learn and contribute to cloud-based application development and maintenance
- Support development of data mastering systems for the syndicated loan market
- Write and maintain code, such as in C#, following coding standards
- Take part in daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives
- Document code, processes and technical specifications
What you need
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a B.E or B.Tech in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or IT
- Strong academic record and interest in software development
- Good communication, teamwork, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Legally eligible to work in India for the duration of the program
- Preferred: object-oriented programming, C# or .NET, basic databases and MS SQL
- Preferred: Git, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and interest in cloud technologies such as AWS
