About this role
This Network Security Engineer role at Unisys in Bangalore centres on firewall and network security operations. What you'll do
- Troubleshoot firewall policies, routing, VPNs and high availability on Fortinet and Palo Alto devices
- Review threat and event logs and support incident triage and response
- Execute approved changes following runbooks and rollback steps
- Maintain operating procedures, configuration records and network diagrams
- Track tickets in tools such as ServiceNow or Jira
- Collect firewall and security metrics and prepare weekly or monthly reports
What you need
- BA/BS degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic firewall troubleshooting skills (Fortinet, Palo Alto or any firewall)
- Understanding of NAT, routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, and IPsec/TLS basics
- Familiarity with Azure networking and basic SIEM tools
- Clear communication for status updates and escalations
