About this role
Vanguard is a global investment management company building a technology center in Hyderabad focused on AI, mobile and cloud technologies. This role is for an early-career full-stack engineer who helps develop, test and deploy cloud-based applications. Work spans frontend and backend components, API integration, AWS-based services, code reviews and documentation. The engineer works with senior engineers and technical leads in an Agile team. It suits a computer science or IT graduate with at least a year of application development experience.

What you'll do
- Develop and maintain frontend and backend application components
- Build and integrate APIs and supporting services
- Take part in testing, debugging and deployment
- Support AWS-based applications and services
- Contribute to code reviews and Agile ceremonies
- Troubleshoot application issues and maintain technical documentation
What you need
- Minimum 1 year of experience in application development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and modern web-development frameworks
- Understanding of API integration concepts
- Basic knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably AWS
- Familiarity with GitHub or source-control tools
