About this role
This Hyderabad role is in Amazon's Last Mile Quality BI team, which works on address and delivery data quality so packages reach customers accurately. The Business Intelligence Engineer builds metrics, dashboards and scalable data pipelines, and runs deep-dive and statistical analyses to find product improvements. The work includes experiment design, forecasting, hypothesis testing and impact measurement, plus GenAI-driven analytics workflows. The person works with technology, operations and finance teams and presents findings to senior stakeholders. It suits someone with at least 2 years of data analysis and data modelling experience.

What you'll do
- Build metric reports, dashboards and scalable data pipelines
- Automate workflows and maintain GenAI-driven analytics workflows
- Design and analyse experiments and run statistical and causal analyses
- Perform deep dives, size opportunities and generate insights for product improvement
- Build predictive models and forecasts
- Gather requirements from business partners and turn them into analytical frameworks
What you need
- 2+ years analysing data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL or similar
- 2+ years of data modelling experience
- Experience with Tableau, QuickSight or similar visualisation tools
- Experience applying basic statistical methods such as regression
- Experience with a scripting language such as Python, Java or R
