About this role

This is an intermediate applications development role at Citi's India entity, contributing to systems analysis and programming for enterprise applications. The developer builds web applications and microservices using Java, Angular and Spring Boot, and works with the wider Technology team. Day to day work includes identifying system enhancements, testing, debugging, analysing issues and recommending and implementing solutions. What you'll do

  • Identify and define necessary system enhancements
  • Analyse issues, make recommendations and implement solutions
  • Conduct testing and debugging and write code to design specifications
  • Build web applications and microservices on the Java, Angular and Spring Boot stack
  • Deliver work within area of responsibility to expected quality and timelines
  • Comply with Citi policies, laws and regulations and escalate control issues

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree/university degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of professional full stack experience building enterprise-scale applications
  • Experience with Java, Angular, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Openshift, Redis, Nginx, APIGEE and MongoDB/PostgreSQL
  • Understanding of SOA concepts and RESTful API design
  • Strong OOP fundamentals, plus knowledge of Agile, Git and release management
  • Skills in systems analysis, troubleshooting, test-driven development and security
