What you'll do

  • Estimate user stories and tasks and commit to them in sprint planning
  • Contribute to backlog refinement and work with the Product Owner so code and acceptance tests match the desired functionality
  • Develop and deliver working software toward team PI objectives and iteration plans
  • Raise impediments and risks with the Scrum Master, Technical Architect or Product Owner and update task status daily
  • Design systems to support testability and test automation
  • Prototype and evaluate technical feasibility

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, chemistry or equivalent directly related to the work
  • 2+ years of software development experience in Java and Spring, preferably Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience with web application frameworks, microservices and REST APIs
  • Knowledge of SQL databases such as Postgres or MySQL, and Git
  • At least one front-end framework such as Angular, React or TypeScript
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and exposure to Docker or similar container platforms
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams across locations and time zones
