What you'll do
- Design and develop scalable, reliable and secure platform services and frameworks
- Drive architecture decisions and contribute to long-term platform strategy
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide platform solutions
- Improve system performance, observability and operational efficiency
- Mentor junior engineers and uphold code quality practices
- Identify and resolve technical risks, bottlenecks and production issues
What you need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years in software development, preferably platform or backend engineering
- Strong proficiency in a language such as Java, Python or Go
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and observability tools
- Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL and Redis, including query and performance tuning
