What you'll do
- Design portions of engineering solutions for products, systems, software and solutions based on given specifications and requirements
- Carry out established test plans for existing designs, including validating mechanical, electrical and software specifications
- Build working relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on engineering design and development
- Work as part of a project team to deliver reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions for low to moderately complex products
- Analyse technical problems and recommend appropriate actions
What you need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or other Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Typically 2–4 years of experience
- Experience with or understanding of relevant engineering design tools and software packages
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a basic understanding of material properties and hardware/electrical component design
- Good written and verbal communication in English and the local language, including the ability to present design proposals and negotiate options
