About this role
Q2 provides digital banking and lending software to banks, credit unions and fintechs. This Bangalore role is a software developer position on the Q2 platform covering both front-end and back-end work. The engineer designs, builds, integrates and tests solutions of moderate complexity, ships them to production, and supports custom features. It includes occasional on-call duty and mentoring of teammates. It suits developers with a couple of years of experience in Agile teams who work with Python and SQL.

What you'll do
- Design, implement, integrate and test software solutions of moderate complexity
- Deliver solutions to live production systems, alone and with others
- Support and maintain custom features, with occasional on-call availability
- Follow security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies
- Assist and mentor teammates with technical guidance and best practices
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree without experience
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, plus web development experience
- Knowledge of the full software development life cycle and service-oriented architecture
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Working knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
- Availability for occasional on-call or emergency support
