About this role
Franklin Templeton's Legal and Compliance Technology team delivers and supports the applications that legal and compliance teams use for trade compliance, KYC/KYD, agreement and contract management, and regulatory compliance. The Associate Software Engineer administers and supports these platforms, handling configuration, testing, data and integration work, and issue resolution. The role also involves analysing legal and compliance processes, documenting requirements and working with business users, developers and QA. It is based in Hyderabad with a 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST shift, and suits people with 2 to 4 years of experience and an AI-first approach to work.

What you'll do
- Administer, configure, test and maintain legal and compliance applications
- Manage data, integrations and batch processing activities
- Support access management and user administration
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and assist with release management
- Document business and functional requirements and turn them into application enhancements
- Collaborate with business users, developers and QA teams, providing documentation and status updates
What you need
- 2 to 4 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or Business
- Foundational programming and database knowledge
- Hands-on experience with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Codex, Claude and Copilot
- Knowledge of APIs, SQL, Python and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work the 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST shift
