About this role

What you'll do
- Provide frontline support for QAD and Progress products, including installations, upgrades and configurations
- Manage support tickets, resolve issues within SLAs and escalate complex cases
- Perform basic Progress DBA tasks such as monitoring and backups under guidance
- Document resolutions and contribute guides and FAQs to the knowledge base
- Keep customers updated and explain technical issues clearly
- Work night shifts, rotations, weekends and on-call schedules
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise products
- Mandatory experience in Linux and Linux troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of Shell scripting and SQL
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Must be based in Pune and able to work 3-4 days a week in the office on rotating and weekend shifts
