About this role
This role sits in the Architecture Technology Foundation group of Fidelity's Asset Management Technology unit in Bangalore. The group provides ready-to-use technology stacks, frameworks and reusable components, and builds integration solutions for asset management. The engineer develops and maintains cloud-hosted applications, including REST APIs in Python-Flask or Spring Boot, deployed to AWS and EKS. The work also involves rapid prototyping, test-driven development and close collaboration with product owners and operations. It suits engineers with 2-4 years of experience who are comfortable with on-call support.

What you'll do
- Develop, enhance, maintain and support applications and integration solutions
- Build REST APIs using Python-Flask or Spring Boot
- Build Docker images and deploy them to EKS and AWS
- Build or contribute to automated testing frameworks using a test-driven approach
- Collaborate with partners on requirements and drive technical discussions
- Provide on-call / level 3 support for incidents and alerts
What you need
- 2-4 years of relevant IT experience, with at least 1-2 years hands-on in Python or Java
- Hands-on experience building REST APIs with Python-Flask or Spring Boot
- Experience deploying to AWS (CloudFormation, Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM Roles, KMS)
- Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Core, Sonar and GitHub
- Understanding of testing tools such as jUnit, Selenium, Playwright, Postman
- Strong communication, problem-solving and adaptability; ability to join within 30 days is a plus
